Corrections policy
Corrections are part of the dataset.
RealitySift does not silently rewrite material conclusions. When the evidence changes, the public record should show the change.
Verdict states
- KEEP — the claim survives the evidence check at the stated level.
- QUALIFY — part of the claim is supported but scope, causality, denominator, timing or wording requires limitation.
- RETRACT — the earlier claim or conclusion is withdrawn.
- UNVERIFIED — available evidence does not establish the proposition.
Correction record
A material correction should identify what changed, why it changed, the evidence that triggered the change and the new confidence level. Definition or classification changes should be explicit rather than smuggled into revised prose.
Public ledger
The current audited record and correction notes are available in the public audit ledger.
